The test of faith

Abraham! If you truly love me you will take your son to the land of moriah and sacrifice him to me!
God wanted to test Abraham's faith towards him to see if he was willing to kill his only child and sacrifice him to God.
Abraham was sad because he was going to lose his only son that he truly loved but obeyed God because he loved him as well and planned on taking Isaac the next day.

Abraham woke up early in the morning and took Isaac with him to chop some wood for the sacrifice.
Abraham and Isaac made their way up the mountains with their stacks of wood in hand. With Isaac completely unaware of what was soon going to happen to him.

Abraham and Isaac set up the altar. He tied Isaac up and was about to kill him when an angel arrived. Stopping Abraham.
Abraham was relieved he didn't have to kill his son. He saw a ram stuck in a bush, took it and sacrificed it to God instead.
Thank you Abraham. Although I told you to kill your beloved son, who means the world to you, you were still willing to do it. Therefore, I will grant you many descendents who will be all around the world.
