What is a liquid ? How does a liquid work ? A liquid is something that takes up space, mass and volume. Liquid work by having it's own flow. For example Juice, Juice has it's own flow, and it takes up space of the container.
Hey, my name is Billyand I'm a Water Molecule. He will be telling you the 3 states of matter, Solid, Liquid and Gas.
Before we get started, Solid liquid and Gas all have kinetic energy.
What is a solid ? How does a solid work? A solid is something that takes up mass and volume. For example, Ice is a solid. To add on, anything that is in the solid state have less kinetic energy because the molecules are close to each other.
Hey James, how does it feel to be a solid ?
Hey Billy! It feel so good being a solid man. My molecules are losing energy and closing in together.
James? You aren't ice anymore. Isn't that possible ?
The reason why I'm in the water state because of the temperature outside is humid which make my molecules change. I'm confuse, I don't understand said Billy. You see when I'm in the freezer my molecules are closer and are bonded together in solid particles, but since I'm not outside I'm going through the melting point and my bonding particles are being separated and turning into a liquid .Click To EditThe reason why I'm in the water state because of the temperature outside. Oh hey Billy. Well you see according to the weather it is pretty hot outside but when I'm in the fridge I am cool like a cucumber in November.
The liquid evaporates into steam or vapor other known as gas particles. The energy in the gas state move more freely because the molecules are moving around fast. Gas has an indefinite shape and volume. For example Hydrogen.
What Happened to you James ? You're steam, how ?
Hey Billy, well I evaporated into steam. It's in the states of matter.
I didn't mentioned this to you but Plasma is the last state of matter
Chemical properties is any material that has a chemical reaction change. For example,Iron. To continue, Chemical properties have more potential energy than water and solid molecules.
Wasn't this fun ? Learning about the states of matter change my perspective of science
Flammability
Some of the chemical properties aresensitive.
To conclude this Physical properties are real world materials that you can't identify the chemical reaction. For example, a leaf the leaf stays the same color until the fall. When it's fall the leaf changes colors into green, yellow, or orange. I hope you enjoy my presentation. Thank you!!
