Storyboard Text

  • "O calm dishonorurable, vile submission! Alla Stoccata carries it away. Tybalt, you ratcatcher, will you walk?"
  • "Gentlemen! for shame! Forbear this outrage. Tybalt, Mercutio! The Prince expressly hath forbidden bandying in Verona streets. Hold, Tybalt! Good Mercutio!"
  • "I am for you."
  • "Romeo, away, be gone!"
  • "Now, Tybalt, take the "villain" back again that late thou gavest me, for Mercutio's soul is but a little way above our heads, Staying for thine to keep him company. Either thou or I. or both, must go with him."
  • "Tybalt here slain, whom Romeo's hand did slay.   • Mercutio and Tybalt get into a fight. Romeo tries to make peace between the two but fails.
  • Tybalt kills Mercutio. Romeo is angry and kills Tybalt. Benvolio tells Romeo to run.
  • The prince finds Mercutio and Tybalt dead and bans Romeo from Verona. Benvolio explains what happened. Lady Capulet asks the prince to kill one of the montagues.
