- The ohio terretory is ours!
- The french and Indian war was fought in North America over the Ohio terretpry between the French and English land. The English colonoists wanted to exapand in the French land, but France would not allow it.
- No! its ours.
- The who participate in this war were France and Great Britain, with native help in both sides. Each countrie recived help from native tribes by doind something in return if they won the war.
- The French wanted to move South , while the British colonists wanted to expand west. The 2 countries started fighting over forts built on the banks of the Ohio river.
- Georghe Washinton proved his worth when he was given a small militia to command against a French fort and succeeds. Washington is then given more responsability and is a key factor to help Britians win the war.
- The British started the war using their usual tactics, which involved lining up in an open field and firing in succession, which caused them to lose most battles in the beginning of the war. In 1757 they change tactics and cut off the French from supplies, which leads them to capturing the city of Quebec and winning the war.
- In winning the war, Britain caused a huge debt on the country, so they taxed the American colonists extensively. The colonists were angry at this because they were being taxed without any representation in England courts, which led to protests and eventually the American Revolution.
