  • America must not intervene in this European conflict, we are still recovering from a domestic economical crisis and suffer deeply from the effects of the great war. We shall pass neutrality acts and cease the shipments of supplies and weaponry in order to maintain a passive position.
  • Our two great nations have signed what will be known as the German-Soviet Nonaggression pact. We shall maintain neutrality with one another, while negotiating the new borders we shall draw with the upcoming invasion of poland. Our pact promises the great leader Stalin part of poland which will bring him new western influence. We shall remain neutral and cooperative despite our past views and differences.
  • The takeover of Poland is thanks to our lightning war strategy and panzer division. We begin our conquest on september first, and in a month's time have succeeded with little retaliation. The bombing of transportation routes and other strategic sites have shown effective in repelling a polish response. We now must prepare to move westward.
  • We have begun our advance september 17th, and have finally pushed Finland to a surrender. Despite taking heavy losses, we now have control of eastern Poland, as well as Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Although a swift victory was expected, the resistance of the Finn's was fierce, and winter weather even fiercer. Now victorious, March of 1940, I can see a bright red flag and brighter soviet influence for times to come..
  • Our great nation has fallen, the german force has misguided our attention to the swift sweep through the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Belgium. However, their target was France, and within short time french lines have dissolved. We overlooked german ability to advance through the forest. The germans moved steadily and fought their way to the Maginot line. From there, they moved to the country's northern coast in only ten days.
  • In total, the german reich has pushed 500 miles into soviet territory. This feat did not come easily. On september 8th we began the siege of Leningrad, and despite starving them out and having surrounded the city completely they refuse surrender. I've grown tired of this incompetence, I shall issue a no retreat order, as I now look to the soviet heart, Moscow.
  • The german army has now turned its attention to Russia. We were not prepared for an attack, but the soviet union has a army bigger than any other, and people braver than any other. We will hold steady, and when time comes use our torched-earth strategy. We will hold.
