Here is my comic strip about Romulus and Remus for my Social Studies Badge #12.
Storyboard Text

- The king of Alba Longa, Numitor, was overthrown by his brother, Amulius.
- After being sentenced to life as a priestess by Amulius, Numitor's daughter, Rhea Silva, gave birth to twin babies (Romulus and Remus).
- After being carried downstream and nursed by a she-wolf, a shepherd and his wife found the boys and raised them as peasants.
- After defeating Amulius, Romulus and Remus decided to journey off and create their own kingdom; however, they could not agree where to start it. They waited for an omen in their designated places. First, Remus saw six vultures, and later, Romulus saw twelve vultures.
- While the brothers fought over whose omen was better, Romulus started building his city, which he named Rome (after himself). After Remus jumped over the wall surrounding Rome, Romulus killed Remus. Rome lived on to be a great city!
