Storyboard Text

  • A long time ago, an ancient Archmage named Aisha discovered a powerful artifact. She named it the Hope Diamond, after the faith its discovery gave her.
  • Aisha went before the rest of the Archmages for advice on the Hope Diamond. Arella, the Commandant at the time, told her its power was too dangerous.
  • To prevent anyone from using the diamond's power for malicious gains, the Archmages placed a curse on the Hope Diamond.
  • Aisha was entrusted by the Council to protect the Hope Diamond. And she did so successfully...until the Crusades.
  • A knight cornered Aisha and the diamond. She warned him that his greed would doom him, his kingdom, and the entire world...but he didn't listen.
  • The knight brought the Hope Diamond back to his king and queen. The king commissioned a necklace for his wife....but Alhena, their magical advisor, warned them to return the necklace to its righful owners.
  • The queen was devastated by Alhena's words; she had no idea of the destruction that had been inflicted to procure her necklace. Enraged, the king ordered Alhena to leave his kingdom and never return.
