  • Greetings, i am professor Hadi. Today we will discuss the importance of the trace elements in the human body.
  • There are around 21 various types of trace elements in our human bodies.
  • The main trace elements are: zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), selenium (Se), chromium (Cr), cobalt (Co), iodine (I)
  • Firstly, Zinc is one of the most important trace elements as it it Reduces inflammation, promotes the immune system health, reduces the risk of age-related illness, promotes wound healing and improves acne symptoms.
  • Secondly, copper is also one of the most important trace elements as Copper helps the body make red blood cells. It also supports the health of the blood vessels, neurons, immune system, and bones.
  • Copper may also work as an antioxidant, lowering the amount of free radicals in the body that can harm cells and DNA. Copper supplementation may also assist to avoid cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis.
  • Finally but most importantly, Idoine. Thyroid hormones require iodine for production. These Hormones regulate the body's metabolism and a variety of other activities. Thyroid hormones are also required for normal bone and brain development throughout pregnancy and childhood.
