- Dominic was gonna go to school when Mom said that she'll be working late. She left Dominic's dinner in the fridge. It was another late working Tuesday! Dominic sulked to school.

- When Dominic was sulking home from school, he heard some rustling. He looked around. He saw a garbage bag. It was moving. Then, he heard some mewing. To his surprise, the garbage bag was mewing at him! He had to investigate! It could be a mouse or a rat. Maybe a cat! Dominic opened it and an Orange Tabby Cat pounced at him!

- Dominic decided to take the cat home but knew that Mom hated female adult animals because she knew that female adult animals would have baby animals. Then, it would be double responsibility! So, Dominic would have to sneak his new pet cat to the shed, escaping the eyes of his younger brother, Jonathan. For now, he had to name the cat, he decided to name her Tabby.
- Dominic used a cardboard box for Tabby. She was dozing off. Just then, Jonathan came to play in the shed as usual but saw Tabby and ran to tell Mom. Mom stomped in furiously and said that Tabby had to go! Dominic was heartbroken! Tabby slept off.

- Mom agreed and told Dominic to sign the Terms Of Agreement For The House And Pets to keep Tabby. Dominic did and Tabby was his new pet cat! But Mom said that Dominic has to be responsible for Tabby and the kittens. Dominic did.
