- EXPOSITION:
- ALL HAIL MACBETH!!!
- Macbeth shall be king but Banquo shall not. Only his children.
- RISING ACTION:
- What is done is done.
- CONFLICT 1:
- "Lesser than Macbeth and greater. Not so happy, yet much happier. Thou shalt get kings, though thou be none. So all hail Macbeth and Banquo."- Page 11 panel 3. The three witches tell Macbeth that he will be king but only Banquo's kid can become king instead of Banquo himself.
- CONFLICT 2 AND 3:
- "I have done the deed. Didst thou not hear a noise?" - Page 42 panel 2. Macbeth has killed King Duncan in order to gain control of the throne. Macbeth than realizes that he shall now become king. Malcolm and Donalbain have fled in fear of dying next. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth now have control over the throne.
- CLIMAX :
- "Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth! Beware Macduff; Beware the Thane of Fife. Dismiss me. Enough."- Page 92 panel 4. Macbeth encounters the three prophecies which all determine his future as king of Scotland.
- FALLING ACTION AND DENOUEMENT:
- "Be bloody, bold, and resolute. Laugh to scorn the power of a man, for none of woman born shall harm Macbeth."- Page 93 panel 4. " ...until Great Birnam Wood to high Dunsinane Hill shall come against him."- Page 94 panel 1. These are the last two prophecies that were told to Macbeth to make him believe that he was invincible.
- "Behold, where stands the usurper's cursed head."- Page 132 panel 5. This is when Macduff decapitates Macbeth and kills him. He picks up his head and looks to crown a new king of Scotland, one that will not kill to have no compettition to the throne or will let success go to their head.
- THE CURSED HEAD!
- "Hail King of Scotland."- Page 133. Now that Macbeth is dead Macduff makes Malcolm king of Scotland. The scene ends with all soldiers chanting "hail".
- HAIL! HAIL! HAIL!
