I have noticed it too, I'm wondering the same thing.
Why has Hamlet been acting so strange lately?! Is it just me that is noticing.
To be or not to be
To be or not to be
Breeder of sinners
You haven't ever gave me anything !
NO ! That is not true. You women are not noticeable of anything
At the start of Act 3, Hamlet starts to act a bit weird and strange. Everyone is questioning why he has been acting weird and eventually, he is asked because no one is sure if he knew he was acting weird. He then responds by saying he doesn't know why he acting like this. Hamlet was then spied on while surprisingly caught confronting Ophelia and that was the reason he was acting so weird because he missed Ophelia.
The Monsters
Why do girls put color on their face? It makes them look weird.
Hamlet comes into the scene very depressed and very mellow not acting himself. But it doesn't look like any sort of sadness. He was depressed to the point where he was rethinking his life choices. He had opened up about it and claimed he was thinking about committing suicide but the only thing that stopped him was his fear of the afterlife..
Pondering upon
I have been thinking about it and I know why Hamlet has really been acting weird.
Really?! I thought it was because he missed Ophelia right or am I wrong?
Hamlet denies to Ophelia that he has given her something, Hamlet says he has given her his love and comments on the "wretchedness" of humankind.
Hamlet Mistakes
Wait...I thought that was-
In this scene, Hamlet is so angry and it becomes an issue because of the way that he expresses himself. He strongly believes that the reason men are the way they are (immature and childish) is all because of girls. He then starts to criticize women for the way they are and thinks it's unnecessary to paint their faces (makeup).
The whole time we believed the sadness for Hamlet was him missing Ophelia ended up being wrong but still no direct answer to why. The real reason is for something worse and it has to do with the death of Hamlet's father and was never about Ophelia.
At the end of the scene, Hamlet hears a cry echoing which is from Polonius and goes to check out what \ is happening. Polonius hides behind the tapestry when Hamlet comes. Hamlet notices and assumes it is Claudias then stabs him mistaking him for Polonius.
