- Lord Capulet
- " I want my sword! old montague's is waving it in my face." (pg.15)
- Lady Capulet
- " Marriage is the very theme I came to talk about. Tell me my daughter what do you think about marriage." (pg.53).
- Juliet
- " If looking leads to liking,I expect I shall. But I won't commit myself any further than you want me to."
- Lord capulet is the head of the capulet house,at feud with the montague family.
- Romeo
- Juliet's mother, Capulet's wife. A woman who herself married young (by her own estimation she gave birth to Juliet at close to the age of fourteen), she is eager to see her daughter marry Paris.
- Nurse
- Juliet is the only daughter of the patriarch of the House of Capulet. She falls in love with Romeo, a member of the House of Montague (with which the Capulets have a blood feud).
- Tybalt
- Romeo Montague is the male protagonist of William Shakespeare's tragedy, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. The son of Lord Montague and his wife, Lady Montague

- She is the personal servant, guardian (and former wet nurse) of Juliet Capulet, and has been since Juliet was born. She had a daughter named Susan who died in infancy, and then became wetnurse to Juliet.

- He is the son of Lady Capulet's brother, Juliet's short-tempered first cousin, and Romeo's rival.
