- Scrooge walked to the living room to find a ghost who said:
- "I am the Ghost of Christmas Present. Look upon me! You have never seen the like of me before! Touch my robe!"
- When he does, they are transported to the streets of a snowy Christmas going straight to Scrooge's clerk's. the Spirit smiled, and stopped to bless Bob Cratchit's dwelling sprinklings of his torch. After Mrs. Crathit discussed how tiny tim behaved, the boys went to fetch the goose, with which they soon returned in high procession for the dinner.
- Scrooge then had dinner and pudding with the Cratchit's family.They were happy, grateful, pleased with one another. happier yet in the bright sprinklings of the Spirit. Happier yet in the bright sprinklings of the Spirit.
- The Spirit were once again upon their travels. Many homes they visited, but always with a happy end. the bell struck BONG! twelve. Scrooge looked about him for the Ghost, and saw it no more. He remembered the prediction of old Jacob Marley,
