Storyboard Text
- In this first scene, we see the Nazi's burning Jewish books. Felix worries about his parents, as they are bookshop owners. He plans his escape after the Nazis leave, to warn his parents.
- Why are they burning books? My parents are bookstore owners - this can not happen! I must escape the orphanage and tell them about this, before its too late!
- As Felix escapes, he had made the mistake of bringing no food. He comes across a river of blood, with the mindset that the hunters threw dead rabbits in it. In a distance, Felix sees books burning. He begins racing towards it, in hope to save the books.
- As Felix arrives at the scene, he is taken back as it is happens to not be a pile of books burning. Its a house - a house with a little girl, who had seemed unharmed by the fire. Her parents on the other hand, were nearly in ashes. Felix had chosen to save the girl, before the Nazis arrive.
- As the girl wakes up, she starts crying, begging for her parents. Felix has no choice, but to lie and tell her that her parents went to the city. He feels guilty about lying to her.
- Don't worry, we will find your parents together!
- After saving the girl, she tells Felix her name is Zelda. Felix quickly realises that Zelda has an injured head, which makes him determined to cheer her up. He tells her stories, and as some hours pass, Felix opens up to Zelda. He tells her how his parents went to the city too, and that Zelda and her parents will reunited soon.
