Odysseus and his men have no idea what's waiting for them. I will teach them not to mess with me.
This Cyclops is scary but he seemed so nice and friendly at first. I wonder what he called us in his cave for. I hope he's not mad at us.
Because Odysseus and his men did not make the run for it, they got caught by the Cyclops. They were fearful, but surprisingly, the Cyclops was not mean or hostile towards them and seemed very inviting and welcoming.

The Cyclops soon became hostile towards Odysseus and his men. The Cyclops become mad and eats two of Odysseus's men. Odysseus is mad and scared and he loses 2 of his men.

After the Cyclops eats two of his men, Odysseus is mad and upset but cannot let his feelings get ahold of him because he is afraid he might lose more men and he might not be able to come home. He starts coming up with a plan to be able to escape with the rest of his men.
