  • Tojo was a dictator but was under Emperor Hirohito's rule and obeyed his orders. Tojo was a Buddhist. Tojo was the leader of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association.

  • Both wanted their countrys to become imperial powers. Both were very nationalistic and militaristic. Both of their nations used militarism to make it out of the Depression. Both were leaders during WW2, and were responsible for millions of deaths. They both had committed many war-crimes during WW2. They both hated modern western culture. Both of them committed suicide near the end of the war to avoid persecution but Tojo survived his attempt but was later hung.

  • Tojo and his party were responsible for the attack on Pearl Harbor which killed over 2,000 Americans this lead to the USA joining WW2.Which then the USA sent nuclear missiles into Japan near the end of the war and killed over 200,000 Japanese. 6 days after this attack Japan surrendered. The nuclear attacked affected Japan for many years after. If they hadn't attacked the USA the outcome of the war could've been much different.
  • Tojo's Effect on the World
  • Tojo was responsible for many war crimes committed by Japanese forces during World War II. As Minister of War, he oversaw the military's actions and approved the use of chemical weapons and the mistreatment of prisoners of war. After the war, Tojo was tried for war crimes. He was found guilty of multiple charges, including waging aggressive war and ordering the mistreatment of prisoners, and was executed by hanging in 1948. His legacy is controversial in Japan, with some seeing him as a nationalist hero and others as a war criminal.
