- -Getting the news at the studio-
- We are going to take a class trip to the movies!
- -In the bus on our way to the movies-
- blah blah blah blah blah blah
- -Watching the movie-
- Durning class, our dance instructor came in and told us the exciting news I will be going to the movie theater as a class trip.
- -The surprise-
- Hello everyone!
- everyone... Please say hello to the one and only Misty Copeland!!!
- The next day everyone was dressed nice and we got into the bus and headed our way to the movie theaters. Everyone was excited.
- -The speech-
- We got to the theater, got snacks, and started watching the movie.
- -How this moment helped me become who I am today-
- As we were about to leave after finishing the movie the biggest surprise younger me could ever ask for happened. The famous ballet dancer, my inspiration, and my all-time Idol Misty Copeland came to my dance company to surprise me and the other dancers.
- She gave the most incredible speech which to sum it up was basically about her perspective of life and dancing at our young age and reassured us that this is just the beginning and she started up just like us and more or less pushed us to continue the hard work because she sees us ending up like her in the future.
- After hearing that speech I felt I became a new person. I got home and I kept thinking about all the inspirational words she said. I listen to her and from that day on did exactly what she told me to do mostly because it was THE Misty Copeland, the one person I've always looked up to since so young who told me to and if it weren't for her I wouldn't be where I am today. This show that experience is significant to me and how it helped me become who I am today.
