Storyboard Text

  • It was due to her self-doubting words like these, that led to her insecurity.
  • Why am I not as beautiful as the Goddess of beauty, Aphrodite? Why should I own so much power from my weakness? Why do I struggle to please myself? Do I even have an intention for my purpose to exist?
  • Meet Anasfaleia, the Goddess of Insecurity. For centuries, her anxieties and disability to love herself led to her depression, but resulted in immense power from the pain she suffered.
  • Little did she know, every time she harmed herself, Anasfaleia unknowingly affected a human being's mood on Earth. This unfortunately, was her abysmal, but mighty power.
  • To this day, all these dreadful thoughts filled Anasfaleia's head. An endless stream followed as the first teardrop broke free. Resting on the clouds, she pressed her palms to her face as a forceful waterfall cascaded from her eyes.
  • The morning of Anasfaleia's birthday
  • Am I destined to suffer for another eternity? I cannot take it anymore! This is too much for me to bear.
  • Her tears started pouring down, resulting in buckets of rain that fulled patches of Earth. Specifically it rained between the borders of Israel and Jordan, in Asia.
  • Why is the weather so horrendous?
  • Minutes and seconds passed slowly, and the echoes of Anasfaleia's weeping turned from one or two salty tear puddles into entire ocean full. This one final cry had emptied her soul, and depleted her energy. Without her tears, she was no more. Centuries have passed, and today Anasfaleia's remains are known as the Dead Sea, located in Jordan.
  • Deep down, Anasfaleia lived a toxic, salty, dangerous and unimaginably hostile life, just as deadly as the Dead Sea itself. She will never forget her past and every single hardship she went through as the Goddess of insecurity.
  • Many people visit this remarkable site, perhaps being reminded of the stark contrast in Anasfaleia's life. The crystal, clear water reflects the sapphire blue sky, the fluffy clouds and most importantly the Goddess herself. People float in the deep waters, glancing up at Anasfaleia and remember her past.
