- Zanele Modipane This past week's experience was highly instructive. I created an interactive visual presentation and game for the first-time utilizing animation tab, record for audio, and transition to lock the presentation.
- Reflection
- I gained knowledge about the importance of the visual design philosophy, which promotes learning through visuals. When creating learning materials with visual tools, I must think and communicate visually to enhance the learner experience and promote engagement. The design must begin with a structure. Create for my target market.How to make an interactive presentation utilizing the CRAP principle(Contrast Repetition Alignment and Proximity).Apply the color guideline (60-30-10), use a good font, and leave lots off-white space.Consistent design should be used. Information should be presented in a clean, uncluttered manner.I Learn how to use the tools in the PowerPoint presentation's menu bar, such as Animations to set up how objects move on the slide and Transitions to set up how the slides change from one to the next and to record audio.
- I am going to start applying visual design ideas to make my presentations more engaging in the future, always keeping the audience in mind. Be bold, conduct thorough research, incorporate learning games, employ white space, and maintain consistency.
