- With the continuous decline of support for the South Vietnam leader, Ngo Dinh Diem, the U.S. is forced to defend him during a military coup but just ends with the brutal killing of the Leader and his brother, Ngo Dinh Nhu. Between 1963-1965 over 12 different governments end up controlling South Vietnam as military coups replace one government after another
- During a political campaign of President Kennedy, he was shot and later pronounced dead, now electing Vice-President Johnson as President. Even still continuing the draft during the Vietnam War.
- During new president elections, republican candidate Richard M. Nixon becomes president. In which he promises to restore law and order, and also ends the draft.
- I will bring back law and order for the sake of this country
- Peace talks start to ensue within the U.S. and the north Vietnam government. They both agree in peace, and a cease fire towards the U.S. troops and the North Vietnamese forces. As the U.S. troops retreat, North Vietnam continue to take over South Vietnam, until they fully control all of it, and the Vietnam war ends.
