- Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden. God and Jesus came and talked to them. There were many trees in the garden. God said Adam and Eve could eat fruit from all the trees but one.
- It was the Tree of Good and Evil. They'd know what was good and evil if they ate fruit from that tree. They would have to leave the Garden of Eden. They could always stay in the Garden of Eden if they did not consume it.
- One day Satan, the devil, came in the form of a serpent to the Garden of Eden. He told Eve she should eat the fruit of the tree of good and evil. Eve said God had told her and Adam not to eat it.
- "God knows that if you eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, you'll become exactly like God, and you'll be able to determine for yourself what is good and what is wrong," the serpent lied. Eve chose to eat the fruit after seeing how enticing and pleasant it was.
- Eve handed part of the fruit to Adam after she had eaten it. Adam devoured it.
- After eating the fruit, Adam and Eve began to feel guilty. They both realized they seemed to be naked, and they both brought sin into the world. God came to them and spoke with discouragment and they had to deal with the consequences of their actions
