- Ooh! A new path!! I wonder what it leads to...

- Hello! I'm Rufun and this is my home at the village I live in. Would you like to come inside?
- Wow!! This house is so cool! I've never seen anything like it!
- Thank you! Houses in these villages are long and thin, and there is usually a fireplace in the middle of them. The homes are called 'longhouses' and have one door. Most commonly, they are created out of mud brick, or solid mud shaped into bricks.
- That sounds so fun!! What kind of food do you eat in villages?
- In villages, we eat domesticated animals and plants. Food in villages consist of lots of read meat and dairy and less seafood. We no longer hunt, but we grow crops and tame animals for food!
- That sounds so exciting! When and where did people start living in villages?
- People started living in villages about 10,000 years ago in Southwest Asia.
- This all sounds like a dream come true! I am going to go now though, I hope to see you again soon!!
