Ellen, there is a race this friday at the school, we need to practice, let´s race home!!
Is not fair, you are much faster than me, but ok, let´s race!
Annemarie and Ellen were talking when Anmarie had the idea of racing each other so she could practice for a race they had next Friday, like they do every friday at school.

They started racing on the Osterbrogade street past the restaurants and stores, Anmarie was much faster and Ellen couldn´t keep up with her, and fmuch urther back was Kristi (Anmarie´s little sister) trying to keep up with them.

When the girls reached a corner, they suddenly found 2 German soldiers asking why they were running, Anmarie and Ellen were very scared but not Kristi, she even pushed away the tallest soldier that tried to grab her hand.

Anmarie, what happened? what is Kristi talking about?
Ellen´s in your apartment, don´t worry, it wasn´t anything just 2 soldiers asking questions...
But i wasn´t scared...
The girls didn´t want their moms to get scared so they didn´t want to say anything, but once they got home, Kristi told them what happened and Miss Rosen (Ellen´s mom) was terrified because she didn´t know where Ellen was, but she was already at their house waiting for her.
