- Good morning Mr. Herriot!
- Oh my!What happened to Tricki?!
- Mr. Herriot, he seems to have no energy.I thought he must be suffering from malnutrition, so I started feeding little extras between meals.
- But did you cut down on the sweet things as I told you?
- Oh, I did for a bit, but he seemed so weak I had to relent. He does love cream cakes and chocoates, so I can't bear to refuse him.
- Are you giving him plenty of exercise?
- Well, he has little walks with me but there has been no ring-throwing latel so he doesn't exercise much
- This is just too much! If you don't cut down on his food right, he'll become ill, rather, fit to die!
- I very well know Mr. Herriot but my love for Tricki has got the better of me, it is difficult, so very difficult.
- I apologize for my severity. If you want, I can take care of Tricki from now and try to cure him.
