- David is now old and Bathsheba comes to visit him. He asks her what she wants and she says she wants to have Solomon in the throne as king
- The Baby Swap
- God shows up in Solomons dream in Gibeon telling him that he can have anything he desires from God.
- Offering
- God tells Solomon that he can have wisdom, honor and wealth because he has asked for only wisdom.
- Betrayal
- A woman laid on her baby during the night and killed it. She swapped her’s with a live one and said it was her baby not the other woman’s. They brought their problem to Solomon and he said he would each give them a half but the woman gave the baby up to save its life. Solomon gave the baby to his rightful mother.
- Solomon and all the people offered 120,000 sheep and goats to God.
- Solomon married many women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites. God had told the Israelites too not marry them but Solomon did anyway. Eventually his heart turned away from the Lord.
