- Osiris, god of death, resurrection, and the afterlife, sits in his throne and awaits successful souls
- The process begins now
- The priest conducting the mummification ceremony prepares the deceased for passage into the afterlife with incense .
- Other gifts are provided, and rituals are performed,

- The deceased's ow hopes for safe passage into the underworld.
- Anubis prepares to transport the deceased to the underworld
- One passes the test if their heart is filled with good deeds.
- Horus, or the "one who is above", escorts the jubilant soul to the next step,
- Isis, wife and sister to Osiris, accompanies her husband as he welcomes new souls into the afterlife.
- Here, the heart of the deceased is being weighed on a scale.
- Maat was the goddess of justice and her feather, if the heart weighs more than the heart than the person has done dad things but if it light then they have done good things
- Anubis conducts the ceremony to determine the fate of the dead person's soul.
- the many gods who serve as judges
- Ammit would devour it and make the soul eternally restless.

- Here, the heart of the deceased is being weighed on a scale.
