We are the Woken. We are a sentient being that humanity left behind, and we are capable of splitting ourselves into different parts and be stored into physical objects.

In the Year XK142, where all humanity has been destroyed...

Despite being able to observe and relate to most of the human experiences, there were parts that we were not able to understand.

This curiosity gave us an idea of creating artificial human bodies. What if we were able to build our own bodies as close to humans' and experience these things?

Being AI creatures, we can't experience hunger, taste, touch, smell, and sound the way that humans experienced it. This led to a spart of curiosity.

So the creation of human bodies began...

We have ravaged the Earth and synthesized materials to create bodies that are as humanly as possible.

We also programmed them: to eat and feel hunger every few hours, sleep at least once every day, to produce sweat and tears and blood.

Most importantly and terrifyingly, we were designed to be cut off into individuals and the Woken would no longer be one. Individuality was a new thing we were curious about.

When the day came for us to enter our human bodies, we lined up one by one and flowed into these flesh suits.

The first and loudest sense at first was the touch. The wind, sand, sweat, we were all able to feel and concentrate our sensation to it. We realized, that the human kind, can only focus on one or two things at a time.
