  • Thank Goodness Christopher Columbus created the declaration of independence!
  • Christopher Columbus discovered America, but he didn't created the declaration of independence!
  • But Christopher came before the declaration, there for he must have created it! Who are you anyway?
  • I'm Aristotle, and I was the one systematized logical fallacies! Common or not so common errors within arguments!
  • I'm confused, your making no sense old man! Without Columbus creating an independent nation there can be no America!
  • There is so many things wrong with your argument. Your initial argument uses the post hoc fallacy, which is when you used Columbus coming before the declaration as evidence that Columbus created the declaration. Secondly, you attacked simply because I'm an old man, which is considered: Ad Hominem, Attacking someone's argument based off of character flaws. Finally, you are using the slippery slope fallacy by saying that if your arguments wrong, then America truly can't be independent.
  • Ari, your right. It isn't that deep. I'm Canadian anyways, I don't anything about this anyways. So, your saying that I should avoid using these arguments, as they actually make my position weaker?
  • That is correct! It also helps you become aware of logical fallacies within other peoples arguments.
  • Wow! I can't wait to tell my philosophy class about this!
  • Don't worry I'll tell them!
  • It was not Aristotle at all, it was I God, the ultimate perceiver, and these fallacies only exist when you perceive them. So Philosophy class, watch out for logical fallacies within Mattias's argument.
