While Nick bottom is inside a bush, just about to appear on the play, Puck transforms his head into a donkey. This happens according to Oberon's plans. Bottom's ugliness scares away the other actors.

Nick Bottom starts singing, what wakes up Titania from her sleep. Due to the purple flower's curse, she falls in love with the donkey head once she sees him.

Puck returns to Oberon, to tell him how the plan is going. Oberon likes the donkey head, but complains about the confusion with the other athenians.
Demetrius and Lysander, wich are both in love with Helena, start fighting for her. Helena and Hermia also start fighting, because Hermia thinks Helena stole Lysander from her.
Attempting to end this mess, Puck goes after Lysander and Demetrius, using fog to make them sleep. Then, he removes the spell from Lysander, what will fix the situation.
