Freak and Max meet for the first time Since Pre-School, and end up being best friends after a little bit.
Climax
"Guess what I got for Christmas Mr. Kane??"
With Kevin on Max's shoulders they become "Freak the Mighty" and go into many adventures such as running into Tony D. and his gang.
Falling Action
"You were suppose to get him a new body!!!"
Killer Kane, the one who killed Max's mother; kidnaps Max in the middle of the night on Christmas eve and brings him to his friends house.
Resolution
"Nothing is a drag kid. Think about it..."
In this Scene, Kevin travels to the tenements to find Max. He brings a squirt gun, fills it with "Sulfuric Acid"-Soap- and squirts in in Kenny's eyes distracting him. He later gets arrested.
On his birthday, Kevin has a seizure, later dying in the hospital. Kevin told Max he would get a new bionic body so Max would not worry.
In the end, Max is sitting at a bus stop when Lorretta Lee asks what Max is doing and he says "Nothing." and she gives him advice and inspires him to write a book.
