What... but that is against the rules, I can't do that.
Ismene dear sister, would you help me buried our brother Polyneices?
"That must be your excuse, I suppose. But as for me,I will bury the brother I love".(Prologue line 64-65).
Antigone and Ismene discuss the dead of Polyneices and Oedipus, who kill each other. But the new law made by Creon says that Polyneices can be buried because is considered as a traitor.
Scene 1
Creon explain that that Oedipus is dead and he is now the new king, he also says that Polyneices does not deserve a burial because he is considered a traitor by traying to sell he's people to slavery, and no one should help him to get buried.
"Eteocles, who died as a man should die, fighting for his country ,is to be buried with full military honors, with all the ceremony that is usual when the greatest heroes die; but his brother Polyneices, who broke his exile to come back with fire and sword against his native city and the shrines of his fathers’ gods, whose one idea was to spill the blood of his blood and sell his own people into slavery Polyneices, I say, is to have no burial".(prologue scene 2).
As you all know, Oedipus our old king has sadly pass away, "and I, as the next in blood, have succeeded to the full power of the throne"(Prologue scene 2). But now I have made a decision for what is going to happen to Oedipus and Polyneices deaths.
Scene2

"I do. I deny nothing."(Sophocles Scene 2).I did it because that is what the gods law says.
what..."You with your head hanging—do you confess this thing?"(Sophocles Scene 2)
You have broken the law and the punishment of death is what you would receive.
