- In the exposition, we learn that Evelyn grew up in Hell's Kitchen with her Cuban immigrant parents under the language of Spanish with similar cultural practices, and a dark, silky hair. Her mother worked as a chorus girl while her dad was extremely abusive. Around the age of eleven, her mother passed away due to pneumonia, causing the abuse to turn to her. It was around this age where she began getting sexually assaulted by a sixteen-year-old store worker.
- Ernie Diaz, Evelyn's first husbands married her at the age of fourteen after she convinced him she was of age. it was rumoured in her town that he would be going Hollywood. Already quite developed, Ev has her first incident where beauty gives her the result she wanted (encouraging). This would be to fulfil#160;the dreams that were once her mother's and are now her's.
- After marrying the first man she ever loved; Don Alder. After being married, he began physically abusing her, and eventually, we find out he had been cheating. The same night she found out, she began her romance with show-stopping Celia St. James. It was around this time that her first few movies had gone popular and she met Harry Cameron and Ari Sullivan.
- After an incident of divorce between Don and Evelyn, Don had Ari take away her career with Sunset Studios. In hopes of making another big hit movie, meeting up with Max Girard to make a French movie. After her last movie (Paramount), she and Harry got into a fight on set they promised to speak later. However, due to Harry's heavy drinking, a tree hit the car as he drove home. He passed away in the hospital later that night. Evelyn moved his last true love

- After the shooting of her last movie, Evelyn married Celia St. James' brother, Robert Jamison so that when Celia would pass, Evelyn would inherit her belongings. They soon moved to Spain, in a family mansion, Robert being a good father to their now rebelling fourteen-year-old. After making fake vows, Celia soon died of respiratory failure. We miss you, Cecelia.
- Older now, Robert Jamison passed away at eighty-one, and her daughter was diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer and soon passed away at the age of around forty. Evelyn is now lonely, with only her maid, Grace living in her large home, holding all of her secrets. Through this isolation, she realizes all that she COULD have done, and how much she wasted what she had for fame. She continues to live in Spain until moving.
