- Once upon a time, a husband and wife wished for a child, and one day they were blessed with one. They live in a house that overlooks a splendid garden surrounded by a high wall.
- CLIMAX
- They were forbidden to go in the witches garden, but the wife was dying just to get some of the Rapunzel lettuce from the garden, so the husband had to go over and steal it.
- FALLING ACTION
- The father went over the wall and attempted to get the lettuce, but the witch caught him. They make a deal that he would give Rapunzel to the witch for the lettuce. Rapunzel grew up with the witch being locked in a tower, and while possessing long beautiful blonde hair. The king's son found her and planned an escape for them, but the witch found that out as well and cuts Rapunzel's hair and banishes her from the tower.
- RESOLUTION
- The witch waits for the prince in the tower, for the perfect moment to tell him that Rapunzel is gone forever. Once he came, the witch used Rapunzel's cut hair to make it seem that it was her bringing down her hair. Once he is up the tower, he finds out the truth and falls in despair for Rapunzel's leave.
- The prince falls into a bush of thorns and the thorns pierce his eyes, leaving him blind. Ever since then he has wandered throughout the forest alone and cannot see. After years of wandering alone and in pain, he finds a desolate land where Rapunzel and his twin children are. She and the prince are finally together again, she cries into his eyes which heals them so he can see once again.
- They return to the kingdom to live a happy life together with their children in peace, and they lived happily ever after.
