This is Mya. She just moved from scotland about 5 years ago.
But, Mya became a citizen three years ago, and she really wants to vote.
I really want to vote!
But, suddenly Mya sees a man run at her. "The man says I saw you talking about voting."
That day Mya find's out about a new mayor in town. She decides to vote
You can't Vote!
Mya gets angry, and calls her lawyer.
Mya yells "You have no right to take away my freedom!!
Lawyer...
Someone has taken away my rights. Please meet me at court. *****
Mya finally reaches to the court and explains what happened the same day.
But the judge does not believe Mya. Instead they almost kicked Mya and her lawyer out of the court. Suddenly Mya appeils and says "I will take this problem to the supreme court!"
Mya has gone to many courts with her lawyer but it seems like none of them believe her story. Mya finally goes to the supreme court. She explains the story of what happened when she was going to vote.
The supreme court Judges says. "Mya has the right to freedom, speak and vote. Court case dismissed.
