- THE ROSE AND THE SUNFLOWER
- #160;in the garden next to the river there was a Rose and a Sunflower who were arguing about a recent competition they had.
- Rose had challenged the Sunflower to a race when they were just seeds to see who would grow first! Sunflower won but Rose wouldn't admit it.
- Rose knew that she was and would always be the main attraction of the garden her fluorescent colors shined and glistened in the sun her velvet-textured flowerhead was the tallest of all the flowers.
- ROSE WOULD SHOUT
- YOU CHEATED!
- YOU GOT WAY MORE WATER AND ATTENTION THAN ME!!
- Whal the Sunflowers flower head was rough and beautiful yellow. His body like a windmill cast a shadow over all the plants shading them from the sun. Sunflower was disappointed Rose took the competition so seriously.
- “It is just a fun game!” Sunflower would often say but the Rose was mad. “Ok well if it was just a competition and all for fun then I challenge you again!” Rose said confidently. Sunflower refused but was curious what it was all about so he asked Rose what this competition was about. Rose began to talk. “The competition will be who will get added to a bouquet first.” Sunflower had one more request.
