- Poppy went missing in the blackout
- Lina sent the message to the mayor
- Doon explores tunnel 351
- Lina wanted to get some new colored pencils for her to draw since we already know she loves to draw. But when Lina was buying the pencils, she didn’t really pay attention to poppy and poppy went missing.
- The guards are were running after Lina. From the wanted posters
- Lina wanted to send the mayor a note about what she’d found in the box in the closet. Lina felt like it was instructions of some sort, and she felt like the mayor would help her with what she'd found
- Lina saw Lizze at the supply depot.
- Doon finished his work in the pipeworks and wanted to discover what was in Tunnel 351. The door was open, and Doon peeked inside. He could not believe it. He saw the mayor with a bunch of supplies and lightbulbs.
- Lina showed Clary the instructions and told her about it
- The guards are looking for Lina and Doon for “spreading vicious rumors” But Lina and Doon are telling the truth but the guards want to keep it a secret.
- Lina saw her leaving with a bag in her hands. Lizzie tripped, and cans of rare food in Ember rolled down the sidewalk. Lina figured out that Lizzie and Lopper had been stealing from the storerooms.
- Clary found out that the instructions were the way out of Ember because Clary found out what Egress means.
