Whirligig
Storyboard Text
- Emma Dakota has a bad relationship with her family and brother down the street. He loves her, but she thinks he is a pain and she takes him for granted. He had also recently been diagnosed with cancer.
- Her brother Caleb comes for a visit. They have an argument, and Caleb tells her that he was told that his remaining time was limited. Emma Dakota tells him she doesn't care.
- Emma Dakota told him that she didn't care if anyone in her family died, she wasn't loved either and felt like she was the one who really should die. She didn't mean that, she loved them deep down. She runs away.
- Emma stumbles across the whirligig. She sees a sad girl sitting on a boat. It says no boat but love. She realizes there is still a way to tell Caleb she loved him, and that she would still remember him.
- No Boat But Love
- Emma Dakota returns home and apologizes to her brother. He tells her that love is bigger than death, and that he kept hoping he would survive.
- The siblings make up, and Emma Dakota says goodbye to her brother. She wakes up to the news of his death, but she doesn't cry, because she knows that her brother lays the uncrossable ocean, but he sends all of his love with arrows. WIP story
