  • The Tv in my lving roon uses two types of energy called current electricty and visible light. The TV uses current electricity because it needs electricity to turn on and off to function. The TV requires visible light to know when the TV is on or off. Current electricity works through the transportaion of electrons through cables connected to the TV. Visible light works with electromagnetic waves through the air that the TV can pick leading us to the images of the TV.
  • Either if our laundry washer/dryers are in the bathroom, in a seprate room. They all have mechanical energy and current electricity. When we turn on the laundry dryer it first starts as mechanical energy. Mechanical energy produces heat so when we put the wet clothes to dry there is heat that dries the clothes. For current electricity it powers the lanudry washer/drier to work well. Current electricity is used in laundry washers because it requires a wire connected to an outlet. Where then the electrons go through the wire and make the laundry washer turn on. Mechanical energy is through motion, like moving the turbine so it moves the clothes.
  • The lamp in our room uses current electricity. When the lamp is on the electricity passes through the wire and into the lamp causing light energy so we can see. Without the lamp on, the electricity stops and makes the lamp turn off and we see nothing.Current electricity works when the pulg is on for the lamp and the electrons inside the wire move throught the wire causing light energy, but as the pulg is off the electrons stop the motion around the circuit and make the lamp turn off.
