School just ended and summer has started. How should we start the first day of summer.
I say we take a trip to the wilderness and camp out for the night.
Sounds like a good idea. I'll pick you up around 4.
As we drove to the camping site we passed by many different places first being a big red barn. We wondered how tall and tried to use objects around to measure it. Having known that the hypotunese is 10 meters and that the angle is 53 degrees we used sin 53 degress which gave7.99 meters
10 meters
53 degress
After passing the big red barn we then drove past the plantation house and began to wonder the angle that the house's roof makes. After asking the farmer living in the house he told us that the height of his house was 12 ft and that the hypotunse of the roof was 8 ft long. Using the formula sin to the power of -1 times 8/12 would equal 41.8 degrees which would be the angle of the roof.
12 ft
8 ft
After passing the plantation house we congtinued to drove towards the camping site. On our way there we passed by an old looking windmill. We then stopped and began to wonder how long was the hypotunese of that the windmill had formed. Using the given facts we know that the lenght of the windmill is 6 ft and the angle produced is 69 dgerees. We then used the formula 6/cos 69 and found that the hypotunese is equal to 16.75ft.
THE END
After traveling through all these different places we finally arrived at the camp site and we were able to began our summer.
