- Oedipus, the leader of Thebes, wanted to protect his citizens from the Coronavirus. Oedipus walks out of his palace to find a crowd gathered and starts to tell them about the plague and how it will effect the time being. He lets them know it is an unsolved mystery and needs the help of these citizens to solve it.
- Act 4
- Climax
- Creon returns to the hospital with news for Oedipus. He tells him that Coronavirus will not be stopped until the murder of the Laius. This drives Oedipus into an all consuming spiral. Oedipus only way of solving this is going to the Oracle.
- Act 5
- Falling Action
- Oedipus and the oracle are discussing about the ways to find the murder of Laius. While discussing the oracle brings up a devastating topic. He tells Oedipus about his prophecy with his family. Oedipus is in complete disbelief that he killed his father and that he is sleeping with his mother.
- In mourning of the finding out of his prophecy of his family from the Oracle, he feels in despair and results in stabbing both of his eyes out. He had done this damage because he did not want to see the world now that he had known the truth of his family. He was ashamed of what he had done.
- Oedipus is in heartache after finding out the truth about his family's prophecies. This has caused many effects on Thebes including Creon banning Opedius from Creon, Oedipus gorging his eyes out, and Jocasta to hang herself. Oedipus uses his go go scooter to exit the town of Thebes.
