- What the heck is that?!?
- Hey mom, did you know my government teacher told us about the "special sauce?"
- It has to do with social mobility... There are steps that one can take to become more successful.
- Well what are the steps?
- Well first you need to get an higher up education which I am planning to do, so I am already going down the right path!
- That's good but that's only the first step, honey.
- Well then once I graduate I would need to get a job that uses my education, cause it is shown that I will get paid more then one that doesn't have an education
- Once I get a job, according to the sauce I should marry someone that has the same or higher education... It is better for our income and it is shown that it is less likely for us to get a divorce.
- I will also have 78% chance to now be better off then you... Also even my kids have a better chance.
- How would your kids benefit?
- It is shown that parents that are better off have more successful kids. Since their parents show what success is like. Also the parents have more money which can pay for better education and even tutors. Which will lead to another generation going to college.
- Wow, well I am glad you decided to go to college to get on the right path of your professors "special sauce!"
