- Phoenix Jackson was the sworn protector of Hollywood, California. However, she was getting old and would one day have to put the hero mantle aside.
- Nonetheless, she continued to fight off threats in order to keep the city and her family safe. Her arch nemesis, Hunter Woods, had been terrorizing the city long before Phoenix became the hero she was.
- One day, Hunter figured rather than attacking Phoenix, he would attack her family. He did so by kidnapping her grandson and flying him away from the city.
- Phoenix hurriedly flew after Hunter in an attempt to get her grandson back, but as she was about to catch him a flock of birds blocked her path. Phoenix tried her hardest to push through the birds and catch up to Hunter.
- Phoenix had finally caught Hunter only to find him prepared to fight her. The two battled at the Golden Gate Bridge, both using their laser vision. The blue rays from Phoenix, and the red rays from Hunter collided and set off an explosion.
- After the dust had settled, Phoenix had reunited with her grandson as Hunter wept in defeat. Phoenix had finally put her nemesis away and could spend much needed time with her family.
