I guess Communism could be considered a religion based off that both follow laws created by a superhuman.
In addition, you can relate Communism to religion. Communism like many religions followed a superhuman order of natural immutable laws that guides human actions. Those laws created by Karl Marx and were spread. Like Buddhism Islam, both have humans rules values based on belief of a superhuman's value
