- Tonight we will watch The Martian

- This is the beginning of the story when we are about to have dinner on Friday. In my family, every Friday we eat pizza for dinner and watch one or two movies. At the beginning of the story, we are about to eat and try to decide on what movie to watch.
- Rising Action
- I actually kinda like this movie
- In this scene, my Mom decides we are going to watch The Martian. My Mom read the book and it was made into a movie, so she wanted to see it. My sister and I start to protest, but she reminds us that we always watch what we want.
- Climax
- That movie was so good!
- We start to watch the movie. I am upset about not watching a movie I wanted. For the first half of the movie, I am sulking and trying to not look like I am actually enjoying it.
- Resolution/Falling Action
- I start to enjoy the movie and forget about being stubborn and grumpy. I am fascinated by the movie and all the cool stuff the main character is doing. I am really interested in this movie and living on Mars looks awesome.
- The movie ends. I am really happy and excited. I tell my parents I loved the movie, and my mom laughs and says she knew id like it.
- When I get really excited it is hard for me to sit still, so I stand up and start pacing in front of the TV. I am talking super fast about the movie and how much I enjoyed it. I decide that I want to be an astronaut and go to Mars when I grow up.
- I want to be an astronaut when I grow up! I'm going to be the first woman on Mars!
