- Nyx was sister of Zeus. He didn't fear anything except her. Zeus was afraid to even go to her cave in fear of angering her.
- So of course Eris would want to be with her Aunt 24/7. Nyx was cruel and loved drama almost as much as Eris did.
- Daughter of Zeus and Hera. Sister and companion of Ares during the Trojan War.
- Speaking of the Trojan War, why not tell the story of the Golden Apple of Discord?

- Zeus announced to the soon to be married couple that they could have their wedding in Mount Olympus.
- Thetis wanted everyone to attend, even if it meant Eris would come. Hera, Zeus, nor Peleus thought it would be a good idea so Zeus declined.
- Trouble
- Little did they know Eris had heard the conversation. She was angry and confronted them.
- ZEUS!
- Eris argued about how unfair it was and threatened to ruin the party. Zeus was used to her behavior and threats and thought she was kidding. After all, it was Nyx's birthday the next day so she would probably be too busy to be messing around.
- Unfair!

- But she wasn't. What a more perfect way to spend her Aunt's birthday than to spend it causing trouble? Special birthday present!
- Eris went to tell her about the argument. They were both excited to cause a little trouble.
- They created a golden apple with the words "for the fairest" on it, and proceeded to carry out their plan.
- The day of the wedding.
- Eris threw a golden apple made only for the fairest. The women at the party fought for it until finally only Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite remained.

- Zeus couldn't decide! He decided to leave it up to Paris of Troy.
- Each goddess tried to persuade him with an gift. In the end, he chose Aphrodite. She promised him the love of love of Helen of Sparta.

- Paris was given the love of Helena after he kidnapped her, just as promised. But Helen's people refused to give her up so easily.
- And so the Trojan War began.
