This little fly saw the burglars at the Watergate.
President Nixon and his cabinet try to cover it up but the fly saw it all.
Constitutional Issue: President Nixon did not want to give up his fly to the police so the big judge told Nixon that he had to give the fly up. Mr. Nixon felt sad and scared as he loved his fly very much and did not want to lose it. The big judge told Mr. Nixon he had to go to court to try and explain why he should get to keep his fly.
As well as losing his fly, if Mr. Nixon lost his court case to the big judge, he would not be able to be President and Commander in Chief anymore. The Commander in Chief got to be the leader of the army! As well as impeachment if things went for the worse.
Mr. Nixon was brought to see the big judge and the judge was asking if it was okay for Mr. Nixon's Executive Privilege to become invincible to the big judge. Executive Privilege is Mr. Nixon's ability to keep secret's from everyone!
The big judge agreed with Mr. Blue Tie and what Mr. Nixon did was bad. His fly was taken away from him and this made him cry. He loved his fly so much to the point that he quit being President out of embarrassment.
Mr. Nixon says goodbye to his fly. He learns that keeping secrets in the dark will always come out to the light.
Mr. Nixon versus the big Judge is known as a crucial precedent in limiting all future President's Executive Power.
