- 3 Stage 1 ;Your heart pumps blood to your lungs.Stage 2 ;In the lungs,the blood picks up oxygen form the air that you have breathed in.Stage 3 ;The oxygen-rich blood travels back to your heart.Stage 4 ;The heart gives the blood a second push.This time the blood travels to all the other parts of your body.Stage 5 ;The blood gives oxygen to the rest of your body.Stage 6 ;The blood which is now low in oxygen,travels back to the heart.The process begins again.Ok kids that's all for today!All of you can go,but Alex and Dan.

Your heart is a part of the circulatory system.It is a strong muscle in your chest.Your heart is always pumping blood to the rest of your body.It contracts and relaxes to do this.The process is happening all the time,but there are six stages.
- 1 Now we are going to learn about blood vessels!Blood vessels are part of the circulatory system.They are tubes that carry blood around your body.There are three main types of blood vessels;-Arteries carry blood away form the heart to the capillaries-Capillaries are tiny blood vessels.They deliver water,oxygen, and nutrients to the body cells.They also carry away waste products.-Veins carry blood away form the capillaries and back to the heart
