- In the first agricultural revolution people began transitioning from hunting to farming. This allowed people to stay in one place and have a higher population and material possessions.(10,000 BC)
- In the second agricultural revolution, farm productivity and crops increased because of new inventions, such as the threshing machine.(1600-1800's)
- Innovations- biotechnology- genetically modifying plants to have desired traits.Effects- Helped countries become more self- sufficient, by might be bad for the environment in the long term.
