- Off we go! I'm so excited!!!
- Hey, don't be too excited. Remember that when animals get scared they have their defense mechanisms. Let us be careful okay?
- First Stop, Butterfly Sanctuary...
- Wow, mother nature never fails to amaze us.
- How do they protect themselves?
- No wonder they have bright colors in order for predators to avoid them.
- Did you know? That orange butterfly near the roses are called Monarch Butterfly
- Well, they use a chemical defense. When birds try to eat them, they vomit and avoids them in the future.

- Look! those bees are trying to go to the cactus.
- What a cool mechanical defense for that plant!
- Haha, they couldn't do that because cactus has sharp spines that turn away most animals.
- OH NO NOT HERE
- Third Stop, Secret Cave...
- SECRET CAVE
- What are we doing here near the cave? There's nothing in here.
- What? Hey what's that I can only see its eyes. That's scary.
- Look closely.
- That is a bat and it is hiding itself. It uses acoustic camouflage to defend themselves from danger.

- It was pretty amazing! I have learned that plants and animals have different defense mechanisms to protect themselves.
