  • Hey Mate! Are you ready for our trip today?

  • Second Stop, Desert Island...
  • Off we go! I'm so excited!!!
  • Hey, don't be too excited. Remember that when animals get scared they have their defense mechanisms. Let us be careful okay?
  • First Stop, Butterfly Sanctuary...
  • Wow, mother nature never fails to amaze us.
  • How do they protect themselves?
  • No wonder they have bright colors in order for predators to avoid them.
  • Did you know? That orange butterfly near the roses are called Monarch Butterfly
  • Well, they use a chemical defense. When birds try to eat them, they vomit and avoids them in the future.

  • Look! those bees are trying to go to the cactus.
  • What a cool mechanical defense for that plant!
  • Haha, they couldn't do that because cactus has sharp spines that turn away most animals.

  • What? Hey what's that I can only see its eyes. That's scary.

  • That is a bat and it is hiding itself. It uses acoustic camouflage to defend themselves from danger.
