The Quartering Act listed that the colonists needed to house the British soldiers in their homes if needed. The colonists were not very happy with this act because they had no say in it and sometimes they couldn't provide everything that they needed to for the troops.
Stamp Act
This act allowed the government to search your house without notice or any reason for smuggled goods. The colonists weren't happy about this act either because they thought that they were invading their private property/privacy
Declaratory Act
The Sugar act was a reason to tax molasses imported from the west indies. This effected the colonists because they used many things one of them being molasses to bake/cook food.
Townshend Act
This required American colonists to pay taxes and stamps on things like documents and papers. The colonists were angry with this act because they were not being represented fairly and had no say in whatever the government had decided to do with them.
The Declaratory act stated that Parliament could do whatever they please to do with the colonies. The colonists felt like this act violated the law of No Taxes without representation.
This act started taxes on imported goods such as Paint, Paper, Tea as well as Lead to help pay their expenses they had. The colonists had began boycotting British in hope that things would change.
